Adding a User Defined Language to Notepad++

If you have notepad++ and you want to add a new language to it try these steps.

1. Go to http://sourceforge.net/apps/mediawiki/notepad-plus/index.php?title=User_Defined_Language_Files and find the language you want and save that xml file.

2. Navigate to C:\Users\USERNAME\AppData\Roaming\Notepad++ if you are on windows 7

3. Drop that xml file into the folder and rename it to just userDefineLang.xml

4. Go to Notepad++ [Language] and it should be there at the bottom

Kingdom Death - Miniature Review

Okay first I have to say I hate Kingdom Death.... why? BECAUSE ADAM POOTS (owner of KD) MAKES ME BROKE.

Recently, I have pretty much purchased every miniature in the line. They are really expensive. But Really, really cool! I love the ideas and world he is trying to create. The concepts for the miniatures are very dark and twisted!

The Wet Nurse

So how are the miniatures? Well they are all cast out of resin for the most part (you can get metal versions of some). Very detailed and a lot of fun to paint. They are slightly taller than your standard 28mm or 32mm running at 35mm.

So lets break it down real quick:

Pros -

• Miniatures look awesome.
• Packaging and Presentation is top of the line
• Comes with concept art and collectors cards

Cons -

• A Bunch of the Miniatures are collectors editions at the moment and it is hard to get a hold of them (see the Wet nurse!)
• Expensive (KD Minis run from 25-90$)
• Delicate, I have pretty much broken EVERY weapon that came with the miniature unintentionally. I also had a really bad cast with the pinup forsaker, lower half of her face was missing, but I resculpted it and now it is fine.

Touchpad Won't Turn on

Okay so I had this weird situation where the touchpad would not turn on. Here's the quick fix:

1. Hold the power button down for 20 seconds
2. OR. Hold the power button AND the black button in the middle (Same combination you use to take a screenshot) down for 20 seconds

Switch PS3 from HDMI to Composite or from Composite to HDMI

• Turn off the System
• Hold the Power button down for 5-6 second until you hear the second beep

HP Touchpad Pros and Cons

Pros:
1. Convenient to use for internet/Web browsing
2. Great sound (When it works...see bottom)
3. Great Battery Life


Cons. (Please NOTE, I bought mine Used. I am not 100% certain if this is a product defect or because the guy who sold it to me broke it.
1. I have difficulty turning it on and off. Sometimes it seems to take forever to turn on.
2. Sound is awesome, but sometimes it randomly goes tinny and I have to restart it.

HP Touchpad Crackling/Static/Tinny Sound

If you are getting static sound from the speakers I noticed something that will fix it.

The speakers were fine until I plugged in the headset to listen to some music. When I went to play it back out of the speakers it was crap. What you need to do is turn the volume ALL THE WAY DOWN, after using the headphones. weird but it solved my problem.

Okay It keeps Happening D: here are some other suggestions I have found.

1. Turn the Sound all the way off, then all the way back up

2. Make a skype call to echo

3. Go into sleep mode while playing sound.

4. Turn the Touchpad on and off

HP Touchpad and WebOS Doctor

So I got suckered in to buying a used HP Touchpad. Still pretty close to the new list price of 150$.

Anyway when I got it I thought there was a problem with it so I called support to ask what to do.

Here are the steps for reinstalling the WebOS software if the Touchpad isn't working:

Navigate to: http://ws.hpwebos.com/webosdoctor/serialnumberinitial.htm

If that doesn't work and you end up at the select a device page, just click the palm pre.

Enter the serial number

fb359ua11aba which will be detected as a touchpad.

you need java installed but you will be prompted to download the webos doctor. Just follow the instructions.

After doing a system scan, there will be a prompt to plug in the touchpad. Make sure you press the volume up and power button to enter usb mode.
